Day 1 of the Guide Training!

If want to work on the river as a kayak guide with RAPP, this is your chance! All of our adult guides are given opportunities to learn leadership, water stewardship, and have opportunities for paid work year round! We are interested in people who want to be mentors for our youth guides.

This is a paid training to get certified as a kayak guide with RAPP.

This training is 10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday. Please be able to commit to both days.

Day 1 will cover protocol, basic boat knowledge, Duwamish River history, and wildlife.
